Model 1100E Grinder

This is a production grinder designed to cam grind shoes between 7 and 14 inches in diameter. Production rates are excellent usually ranging from 1000 to 1500 shoe per hour depending on operator skill. It uses an 11 inch diameter by 4 inch wide diamond abrasive wheel for fast accurate cuts powered by a 15 hp motor. The chucks, (one for 7 to 9 inch shoes, one for 9 to 12 inch shoes and one for shoes ranging between 12 and 14 inches in diameter) can be interchanged quickly and easily. They all grip the shoes by the web, which makes it able to grind any welded shoe within the size range. A digital display shows the arc being ground.

Model 1100F Grinder

This machine has been designed for the OEM or high production market. It utilizes an air-operated clamping chuck that may either grip the shoe by the table or the web. The chucks are usually designed for individual shoes but can be made for families of shoes with similar dimensions. This machine uses a 11 x 4 inch diamond abrasive wheel.

The size range has been expanded to grind shoes down to 4 inches in diameter making it suitable for grinding motorcycle or golf cart shoes. With proper tooling it can grind shoes up to 14 inches in diameter.
